Hydroponics Growing Systems Allow You to Have Organic Fruits and Veggies Year
Round

Hydroponic gardens are a great way to grow an indoor garden. Indoor gardens allow you to grow out of season
fruits and vegetables year round as well as allowing you to do real organic gardening without the use of soil.
However, the best way to establish your own hydroponic garden is with hydroponic diy kits so that you can ensure
that you have all of the hydroponic equipment that you need to start your own hydroponic indoor garden
successfully. While you can purchase the equipment separately, as a beginner, a do it yourself kit will likely be
the easiest way for you to grow indoor plants.
Some of the hydroponic equipment that you will need to start your hydroponic garden are the correct lighting, a
reservoir, a pump, an aerator, a holding platform and a cloning kit (optional but makes growing new plants occur
faster). Each of these pieces of equipment are necessary for your indoor hydroponic garden and without them you
will not have the success that you want from your efforts.
When it comes to the lighting for your hydroponic garden you have two options, blue based lights and red based
lights. Blue light spectrum lights are great for new, young plants. If you are trying to get an established plant
to bare fruit, then the red light spectrum will benefit you the most.
You will probably want to have a system with both types of light as well as reflective surfaces to expand the
amount of coverage fro the light. This hydroponic equipment is not optional if you want to have a successful
hydroponic garden.
The other hydroponic equipment such as the reservoir, pump, aerator and holding platform work together to ensure
that your plants receive all of the necessary nutrients to grow. The reservoir holds the nutrients while the pump
and the aerator work together to get the nutrients to the plants and keep oxygen in the system.
The platform that holds the plants allows the plants to sit at exactly the right elevation to receive the
correct amount of nutrients in the plant to ensure proper growth. Again, if you are new to hydroponic gardening,
then it is highly recommended that you use a DIY kit versus trying to put together everything yourself.
